Welcome Beth! She is the newest member of our Pilates Instructor Team.

Beth has always had a love of sports growing up with 8 brothers playing many team sports and is excited to train clients with Redcord at Core Buckhead.   Throughout her life Beth has trained with free weights, Pilates, yoga, running, skiing, and plays competitive A1 tennis against women half her age.  Age does not define Beth.

Beth grew up in Atlanta but has lived all over the US.  As a women athlete, Beth’s life was shaped in high school watching women’s sports dramatically change in a single year with the passage of Title 9.  She actually appeared in court as a witness for high school women athletes being treated as second class citizens. To this day, Beth is so proud every time she sees young women on the fields, in the gym, on the court playing and loving sports.

Beth has a Bachelor of Vocal/Piano degree from Eastern Michigan University.  She taught vocal music at schools and piano privately for several years.  She sang and played keyboards throughout her life in piano bars, various venues, as well as directed youth worship groups.  She still canters at church weekly.

After a shoulder surgery a few years ago, there was concern whether Beth would ever regain her full shoulder rotation.  Both Beth and her surgeon were very impressed by her rapid full recovery using Redcord during her six months of PT.  This inspired Beth to pursue her certifications in Redcord Active Multi Suspension, Redcord Active Intro Corrective Certification, Advance Suspension training and Suspension Axis Certification as well as Zhealth R, I, & S Phase, which is applied pain and performance neurology training.

Outside the studio Beth shares her life with her husband and their 3 children, 2 who are working adults.  Beth feels strongly about giving back to the community and volunteers all over the Atlanta area for various charities.
