Alayna Lee
Pilates Instructor

Alayna had taught Pilates- in Nantucket, Maui and in NYC, where she owns a studio- for more than a decade before her marriage brought her to Atlanta. She has studied at The Pilates Center as well as in the Kathy Grant Heritage Program under Cara Reeser. Kathy Grant was one of Joseph Pilates' primary proteges. Most recently, Alayna completed the Fletcher Intensive, a study of yet another of Pilates' proteges who developed a Pilates-inspired curriculum called The Fletcher Work in LA.

Maru Toro CORE Pilates Instructor

Maru Toro
Pilates Instructor

Maru is a native Puerto Rican who started studying Pilates with Lolita San Miguel at age 12 as part of her ballet training. Lolita is one of a handful of teachers still alive who studied directly with Joseph Pilates in New York City. As Maru's ballet career grew, so did her love of the Pilates work, and she earned her certification through Lolita San Miguel's Pilates Master Teacher program. Maru owns two Pilates & Barre studios in Puerto Rico and lives in Atlanta with her husband and daughter.

Cynthia Zenner
Pilates Instructor

Cynthia came to Pilates through Physical Therapy after a lifetime of athleticism, including competitive fencing and bicycle tours throughout the US, led to severe hip pain. The transformative, unique benefits of Classical Pilates inspired Cynthia, at age 58, to pursue Pilates teacher training. Her prior career was in Environmental Consulting. Cynthia earned her certification from world-renowned The Pilates Center's Intermediate Pilates Teacher Training Program, in partnership with Host Studio CORE! Cynthia believes that when someone is more comfortable in their body, they can more freely share their gifts with the world. She loves sharing the unique benefits of Classical Pilates and seeing the positive changes that happen when people commit to this extraordinary movement system.
