RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT

Each of our instructors has a basic equipment pack at their home to use while teaching. It includes a mat, a magic circle, hand weights, a theraband, a foam roller and a ball. We have set up links to Amazon for each of these items so you can be prepared at home. We also have items you might need for self-care if you choose to use telehealth physical therapy during our hiatus from our space. If you’re not sure what to have on hand, the bare minimum is a mat (preferably doubled if it is a traditional yoga mat), and you can discuss specific needs with your teacher. If you are interested in Pilates or GYROTONIC® equipment in your home, please contact our Client Engagement team for additional information.

Pilates Mat (All Classes – protect your back!)

Stool (Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Classes)

Foam Roller (Pilates Mat – for stabilization and soft tissue relief)

Hand Weights (Pilates Mat & Gyrokinesis – for building shoulder and arm strength & upper ab challenge) Pick your weight – 1lb for Gyrokinesis, 2lbs or 3lbs for Pilates Mat)

Magic Circle (Pilates Mat – our favorite way to make Pilates mat truly burn!)

Therabands (All Classes – stretching & resistance exercises; pick light/medium or heavy pack)

Small Ball (Pilates Mat – inner thigh work & spinal extension)

Pinky Ball (All Classes – trigger point release)
