Jessica's Winter Update

2009-11-28

Dear Friends,

By the time you read this note, CORE’s Westside location will be celebrating its 2-month birthday, and CORE Buckhead will be just past its 3½ year anniversary.  I am filled with gratitude for my amazing employees and the wonderful group of customers our spaces have attracted. Each growth phase the studios have experienced has also demanded that all of us who work here grow along with the business. Aside from patronizing CORE and sharing your experiences with your friends and family, many of you have nurtured that personal and professional growth with your support and honest feedback. During this season of Thanksgiving, please know that we appreciate you and all that you do for us.

I have had the opportunity to teach some new faces this fall and speak with many new people inquiring about our services. One of the most common questions I get is “how did you get into this, anyway?” I love sharing my story because each time I retell it, I remember how much this work – Pilates, Gyrotonic®, learning how to run a business and (starting to learn) how to run multiple businesses – has changed my life on all levels… physically, mentally and emotionally. Pilates, Gyrotonic® and CORE truly have borne out the spirit of our tag line by acting as catalysts for better health and well being in my life. Reaffirming my own experience and hearing from you how CORE has brought positive change to your life is what motivates me to continuously improve myself and all facets our business.

You might have noticed this fall that we have started to upgrade our web site. One of our goals is to have teachers and clients write their stories to share with other members of the CORE community and those who want to understand what we offer. I am getting the ball rolling with my own story, which you can read here. I hope that you will see something familiar in my story and be inspired to share your story with us, too.

As the holiday season ramps up, remember to take care of yourself and make time to work out, even if you can’t keep up with your normal routine. Your body and your mind will thank you!

Have a wonderful holiday season!

Gratefully,

Jessica
